Precautions for use of polyacrylamide:
1. Powdered or granular polyacrylamide cannot be directly added to sewage. It must be dissolved in water before use, and then its aqueous solution shall be added to sewage in a certain proportion.
2. The water for dissolving products should be clean tap water, and the PH value of tap water can meet the requirements for preparing flocculant solution. 3. The water temperature should not exceed 60 ℃, normal temperature is enough.
4. The concentration of polyacrylamide PAM solution is generally 0.1~0.5%, that is, 15 grams of powder is added to 1 liter of water.
5. Due to the poor shear performance of polyacrylamide, the product will be degraded after long time and high speed stirring, which will reduce its use effect. Generally, the stirring speed should be 60~120 rpm during dissolution.
6. In the process of dissolution, the speed of adding flocculant should be as slow as possible, and at the same time, it should be sprinkled into the water vortex slowly to prevent the flocculant particles from sticking together after entering the water.
